The Karbonius E9X M3 (S65) Carbon Plenum Heat Shield Kit is purpose-designed for use with Karbonius' S65 carbon plenum systems, providing thermal insulation that reduces air temperature inside the plenum — improving combustion charge density and protecting intake components from radiated engine heat. The kit consists of 11 precision-cut pieces of aluminized glass fiber material, self-adhesive on the reverse side, with an overlap pattern that fully covers the base of the airbox.

All 11 pieces are CNC machine-cut for exact fitment, enabling a fast and effective installation without specialist tools. The self-adhesive backing withstands continuous temperatures up to 250°C, while the aluminized glass fiber substrate itself is rated to 600°C — providing ample thermal protection in the E9X M3 engine bay environment.

Manufactured in Spain under ISO 9001 quality management standards, the kit is individually numbered and manufactured to the same standards as all Karbonius products. At just 150 grams, it adds negligible mass while delivering meaningful thermal isolation.
