The Eventuri BMW S85 Carbon Plenum System was developed to improve airflow efficiency and throttle response on the 5.0L naturally aspirated V10 found in the E60 M5 and E63/E64 M6. The factory plenum design features internal flow disruption and uneven air distribution between cylinders, which can limit performance at higher engine speeds. Eventuri’s carbon plenum replaces the OEM units with an optimized internal geometry designed to promote smoother, more uniform airflow to each intake runner.

Extensive testing was carried out to refine the internal volume and shape of the plenum chambers, ensuring balanced air delivery across both cylinder banks. By improving airflow consistency and reducing internal turbulence, the carbon plenum enhances throttle response and supports improved top-end performance while maintaining OEM drivability characteristics.

Constructed from 100% prepreg carbon fiber, the Eventuri S85 plenum system offers both airflow and thermal advantages over the factory plastic units.
