CANchecked TCC08 Thermocouple CAN Converter with 4-pin DTM Connector

The CANchecked TCC08 Thermocouple Converter with DTM 4-way is an 8-channel Type-K thermocouple amplifier that transmits temperature readings directly over the CAN bus — the key distinction from the analog TCC01. Part of the TCCXX family alongside the TCC04, TCC06, and TCC10, the TCC08 connects up to eight Type-K thermocouples and delivers cold-junction compensated readings with a measurement range of 0 to 1250°C and a resolution of 0.25°C (14 bits).

Type-K thermocouples are highly versatile and suitable for exhaust gas temperatures (EGT), pre- and post-intercooler temperatures, cylinder head temperatures, water temperature, oil temperature, and more. The TCC08 connects via a four-pin DTM connector for CAN and uses miniaturized K connectors for thermocouple inputs. It supports CAN 2.0A/B with configurable CAN speed (125 kbps, 250 kbps, 500 kbps, or 1 Mbps), selectable emulation modes (Standard, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster, or AEMnet), adjustable CAN bus ID, and Big or Little Endian byte order — all configured via onboard WLAN using a smartphone or PC. WLAN also enables real-time temperature monitoring and firmware updates. Tested and compatible with Emtron, MaxxECU, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster (black/classic), LinkECU, and many more ECUs.
