The CANchecked TCC01 Thermocouple Converter with DTM 3-way is a compact thermocouple amplifier that converts the signal from a Type-K thermocouple probe into a clean 0–5 V analog output, making exhaust gas temperature and other thermal measurements accessible to any ECU or data display with a standard analog input. It is CANchecked's entry-level thermocouple amplifier and the ideal choice for single-channel temperature monitoring applications.

Insert a Type-K probe into the standard mini thermocouple connector on one side; the other side outputs a calibrated 0–5 V signal via a DTM06-3S connector, providing 5V supply, ground, and signal to the receiving device. The internal cold junction compensation ensures accurate readings across the full linear range of 0–1000°C, with a very fine resolution of 4 mV per °C and a maximum accuracy of 2% deviation. Power consumption is just 180 µA. The calibration is 0 V = 0°C (32°F) and 5 V = 1250°C (2282°F). CANchecked displays are pre-configured to receive the TCC01 signal — simply connect to AIN2. The mounting tab allows attachment with an M6 screw or cable tie, and multiple TCC01 modules can be stacked side by side for twin-scroll or multi-cylinder EGT applications. The TCC01 supports Type-K elements in 0.5, 1, 3, and 5 mm diameters, and is equally suited to measuring temperatures of gases, liquids, and other media. For applications requiring multiple Type-K channels via CAN bus, the TCC04, TCC06, TCC08, and TCC10 provide multi-channel CAN bus output.
