The CANchecked MFD28 Multi Function Universal Display is a compact motorsport-inspired digital display solution engineered for enthusiasts who want expanded vehicle data visibility and customizable CAN bus integration within a clean OEM+ style package. Designed and manufactured in Germany, the MFD32 combines advanced display functionality, broad ECU compatibility, and flexible configuration options into a compact 2.8-inch touchscreen platform suitable for a wide range of automotive applications.

Featuring a symmetrical display layout that can be rotated by 90 degrees, the MFD28 offers flexible installation possibilities across a variety of interior layouts and custom dashboard configurations. The included 3D-printed display surround is manufactured in-house by CANchecked and is supplied with the required wiring, MicroSD card support, connectors, and wire harness for installation.

The MFD28 supports communication through CAN bus protocols including ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284, allowing users to retrieve extensive ECU data depending on manufacturer support and CAN documentation availability. CANchecked’s system supports up to 128 sensors across CAN bus and internal inputs, while offering configurable pages and widget layouts through the integrated touchscreen interface or CANchecked’s Display Setup Software (DSS).

Designed for both street and motorsport applications, the MFD28 supports broadcast CAN data, OBD2 queries via 11-bit and 29-bit CAN communication, and advanced protocols including TP2.0 for VW/Audi and UDS communication. Whether monitoring engine parameters, custom sensors, or vehicle diagnostics, the MFD28 delivers a highly configurable digital display platform with extensive expandability.
