IND Distribution is proud to unveil our latest project—the all-new BMW G90 M5 in Storm Bay Metallic. Renowned for excellence and exclusivity in premium automotive performance, the G90 M5 continues to set the benchmark in its segment, but we've already taken this iconic performance sedan to unprecedented heights. Notably, before any modifications were made, IND became the first in the world to conduct an independent comprehensive dyno test on the G90 M5, establishing baseline performance benchmarks.
While we're certainly no stranger to fully repainting our builds in unique shades (see our Gelbgrun F87 M2, Ultraviolet F82 M4, and British Racing Green G82 M4 for example), we wanted to go a different direction with our G90. We're fans of BMW's Storm Grey Metallic, especially in person, but to set our M5 apart a bit more (and to help protect the paint), you may have noticed in several photos that we decided on a full matte PPF treatment to give the car a slight twist. We're extremely pleased with the result.
Aerodynamics are elevated with a suite of Alpha-N components. Starting at the front, their 3-piece Carbon Front Splitter Set adds a center chin splitter that works in concert with the 2-piece corner splitters. The complete set offers a significantly more performance oriented look than the factory chin splitter. In addition, while similar to their G8X M3 / M4 carbon vented hood, Alpha-N's G9X M5 variant uses a new design that offers larger and more efficiently positioned air outlets for better thermals and aerodynamics, much more similar to BMW Motorsport's M4 GT3. The carbon vented hood is constructed entirely of pre-preg carbon fiber with integrated skeletal bracing, which serves the stability while maintaining minimum weight. Not only does the hood reduce weight and effectively dissipate engine heat, but provides a massive improvement to the car's overall performance and visual aggression.
At the rear, Alpha-N's V2 Carbon Rear Diffuser features small integrated "underbody floor styled" sections around the center of the diffuser, complementing the sleek lines and providing superior downforce while reducing drag. Prior to installing Alpha-N's Carbon CSL Ducktail Trunk Spoiler, we we ahead and tried out their carbon rear trunk spoiler that provided an aggressive look while also being fully functional. The CSL Ducktail Trunk Spoiler comes as a skin that's meant to be molded onto your existing trunk lid and therefore requires significantly more effort to install and paint.
The G90 M5 marks a milestone by being equipped with the first-ever set of HRE wheels designed specifically for this model. We selected a square setup featuring 21x11" HRE Monoblok 520M wheels, delivering exceptional performance and a striking, aggressive stance. We prefer the square setup both for its looks as well as its function since it makes the car's handling slightly more neutral with less initial understeer.
Handling is further optimized with AST Lowering Springs, enhancing ride dynamics and providing a perfect complement to the newly installed wheel setup.
While the car currently awaits installation of Eventuri's advanced carbon fiber intake system, Eventuri is rapidly progressing in its development to deliver enhanced airflow efficiency and an aggressive engine note for optimal performance.

Although many G90 M5 owners are still awaiting their car's delivery, Eventuri's development timeline for the new M5's intake system underscores their commitment to staying ahead of the curve. By obtaining one of the first G90 M5 UK deliveries, they are ensuring that G9X owners will have access to a high-quality intake system early in the lifecycle of the vehicle.

Considering the significant gains they achieved on the XM's S68 and F9X S63-powered models, we're truly looking forward to seeing the results for their latest platform.
That said, exhaust duties are already masterfully handled by a complete Eisenmann Performance Exhaust System from the primary catalysts back. Although it's yet to be released, the G90 system is crafted to precision, it delivers a rich, deep tone while significantly reducing back pressure, contributing to increased horsepower and torque, as well as aesthetic perfection with its exquisite tips, matching the 110mm with side cut-outs first seen on the G8X systems.
