Ohlins R8 (2nd Gen.) TTX-PRO Pro-level Performance
The Öhlins TTX Pro Coilover System for the Audi R8 (4S) is a race-derived suspension package engineered for drivers who demand the highest level of damper performance on circuit. Built around Öhlins' TTX — Twin Tube eXtreme — technology, the system delivers precise, high-resolution control over damping forces, drawing on Öhlins' decades of development in Formula 1, IndyCar, and MotoGP programs.
TTX technology uses a twin-tube damper architecture in which an inner working tube and outer reserve tube work in concert to manage fluid flow with exceptional efficiency. Separate compression and rebound adjusters give the driver fully independent control over each damping phase, allowing the suspension to be tuned precisely for track conditions, tire compound, or driving style. The system can be further upgraded to three or four-way adjustability for advanced setup requirements.
Öhlins' temperature-compensating design maintains consistent damping characteristics as fluid temperatures rise during sustained track use. This ensures repeatable lap times and predictable handling behavior even in the most demanding conditions — critical for a car of the R8's performance level.
Ride height adjustment is handled independently from spring preload, allowing precise corner-weight tuning and rake adjustment without altering spring characteristics or reducing suspension travel.
