The MMX Performance BMW B58 Air Intake Kit is the most sophisticated and highest-flowing cold air intake available for B58-powered F2X and F3X chassis BMWs. Built around a dual-entry, high-flow cotton gauze filter and a precision aluminum bell-mouth, the kit removes the inherent restrictions of the factory airbox and unlocks the airflow needed to support tuned and high-output B58 engines while delivering an addictive induction soundtrack the first time you accelerate hard.
At the heart of the system is a dual-entry cotton gauze filter mounted to a smooth aluminum bell-mouth designed to maximize laminar flow into the turbo. The included heat shield retains the factory cold-air feed while isolating the filter from heat generated by the turbo and exhaust manifold, ensuring intake air temperatures stay low for consistent power delivery. Billet aluminum support fixings and real carbon fiber support rods give the heat shield a clean, finished appearance in the engine bay.
To minimize NVH, MMX integrates rubber-isolated billet mounts that allow the assembly to move with engine rock instead of transmitting noise and vibration into the cabin. Stainless steel hose clamps and complete fitting hardware are included, and the proprietary anodized finish is engineered for long-term durability under engine bay heat.
