The Karbonius aluminum strut brace was originally engineered for the BMW F95 X5M, F96 X6M, and G09 XM. Since several members of the IND team own G05 chassis vehicles, we developed a complete retrofit package that allows this brace to be installed on the G05 X5, G06 X6, and G07 X7 using all factory mounting points.
Each kit includes the Karbonius strut brace, the required left and right OEM BMW supporting braces, and all necessary installation hardware. No trimming or modifications are required. This retrofit maintains an OEM-like installation process while giving G05, G06, and G07 owners access to a significantly stronger, more rigid brace design.
Karbonius engineers each component in Spain using 3D scanning, CAD modeling, and rapid prototyping to achieve tight tolerances and a precise fit. The upgraded aluminum construction provides improved rigidity over the factory brace, delivering a more connected front-end feel. Finish options include Black, Silver, and Red anodizing.
