The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the Mercedes-AMG A35, A250, CLA35, CLA250, and GLB35 (pre-facelift models) has been engineered to deliver a less restrictive airflow path while maintaining consistently low intake air temperatures. Developed through extensive real-world testing, this fully sealed system addresses the heat soak limitations of the factory airbox and provides measurable performance gains across the entire RPM range.

On the A35 platform, the intake is positioned close to the exhaust manifold, which rapidly increases engine bay temperatures. To combat this, Eventuri redesigned the airbox with increased internal volume and relocated the ECU to create additional space for airflow. A strategically positioned opening on the cold side of the airbox allows ambient air to enter while remaining shielded from direct heat.

Airflow is further improved with a larger carbon fiber inlet tube, beginning with an internal diameter of 111mm and smoothly tapering to match the turbo inlet. This creates a smooth and efficient path for the turbocharger, allowing it to generate boost with reduced drag. The system also incorporates a bespoke high-flow dry filter with ISO-tested filtration performance and increased surface area compared to the factory unit.

Dyno testing carried out by Mercedes specialists MSL Performance demonstrated consistent gains throughout the rev range, with the most significant improvements at higher RPM where the factory airbox becomes restrictive. On the road, this translates to sharper throttle response, improved acceleration, and a more pronounced induction sound. Tuned vehicles benefit even further as airflow demand increases.

Constructed from high-quality prepreg carbon fiber and supported by CNC-machined components and laser-cut stainless steel brackets, the system offers OEM-level fitment with a premium engine bay appearance.
