The Eventuri BMW Z4M Carbon Intake System was engineered to improve airflow efficiency and intake air temperature control for the S54 naturally aspirated inline-6 engine. The factory airbox introduces airflow disruption through abrupt transitions and internal restrictions, which can limit volumetric efficiency at higher engine speeds. Eventuri’s system replaces the OEM airbox with a sealed carbon fiber housing designed to provide a smoother and more direct airflow path to the throttle body.

Extensive development focused on optimizing internal airbox volume, filter positioning, and inlet geometry to maintain stable intake air temperatures while reducing turbulence. By utilizing a fully sealed carbon fiber housing rather than an exposed cone filter, the system helps minimize heat soak and preserve air density during repeated pulls and spirited driving.

The intake features Eventuri’s patented pending carbon fibre housing design, which promotes laminar airflow as air transitions through the filter and into the intake tract. Constructed from 100% prepreg carbon fiber, the housing provides a smooth internal surface and reduced thermal absorption compared to the factory plastic airbox while maintaining OEM drivability and reliability.
