In BMW's effort to cut out as much weight as possible from the famous "Coupé Sport Leichtbau" model, one of the many changes found on the E46 M3 CSL was its completely bespoke carbon center console.

The M3 CSL received a special "minimalist" console constructed from carbon fiber that did away with the heavy thick plastic, fold-down armrest mechanism and cushion, ashtray, cupholders and other miscellaneous bits. Aside from also including a provision for the relocated side-mirror adjustment switch, the console's contour and opening for the e-brake handle was also slightly different than the standard M3.

As such, the console requires this bespoke e-brake boot with frame.
