Inside the Development of Eventuri’s CSL-Inspired Carbon Strut Brace for the G8X M2/M3/M4

Eventuri has built a reputation as the premier high-end intake manufacturer in the automotive aftermarket. While many companies rely on off-the-shelf components, Eventuri designs every system from the ground up. From custom-engineered intake filters to advanced 3D printing and rapid prototyping, their process is meticulous and performance-driven. Each application undergoes extensive testing—on the dyno, in real-world driving, on the track, and through bench flow analysis—to ensure unmatched results. Bilal at Eventuri, the engineering mind behind the brand, has consistently pushed the envelope. Having already developed the best-selling intake for the G8X M2/M3/M4—which remains one of IND’s fastest-moving products—he turned his attention to structural performance. Inspired by the CSL, Bilal set out to create Eventuri’s first-ever carbon fiber strut brace for the S58 platform.

Unimpressed with existing options on the market, Bilal’s goal was to engineer something truly unique. The project began with a full 3D scan of Eventuri’s in-house M4 CSL to ensure precise measurements. From there, the design phase kicked off with several early concepts shared with IND for feedback. Once the final design was selected, a 3D-printed prototype was created to test fitment and visual presence in the engine bay. To guarantee the highest standards, Eventuri transitioned into aluminum tooling before moving into final production using pre-preg carbon fiber. The end result is a beautifully crafted strut brace that blends carbon fiber with integrated metal inserts for added rigidity. Each kit includes custom hardware and is available in both gloss and matte carbon finishes to complement existing Eventuri intakes.
