The newest Eventuri offering for the MK8 Golf platform represents a comprehensive rethink of the intake system to produce the performance that VW enthusiasts demand. As with their popular Audi RS3 intake, this VW system is designed to accommodate a wide variety of power ceilings, all the way from stock to hybrid or full-frame turbos.
ONE FOR EVERYONE
There are several applications that fall under the 2.0 TFSi Generation 4 family. In anticipating this, Eventuri has created part numbers to suit each intake variant: the Audi 8Y S3 and MK8 Golf R, MK8 GTI for the US market, and MK8 GTI for ROW. Each variant has been designed to offer the highest possible flow rate and a healthy increase in internal air volume, while also minimizing the rising intake temperatures that rob power.
Eventuri's complete re-think has also allowed them to incorporate a second entry feed behind the hood—the equivalent of an extra 7" diameter hole to leverage. Working together, the dual flow entry paths vastly outperform the restrictive factory intake. The dyno graphs reaffirm Eventuri's engineering work for a truly impressive improvement right out of the gate.
