The MMX Performance F8X (S55) / F1X (S63) Elite Series Panel Air Filter Set is the top-tier filtration upgrade for both the S55 and S63 BMW M-cars. Where the standard MMX cotton gauze filter is the entry-point upgrade, the Elite Series steps up to a premium tri-foam construction inspired by Formula 1, World Rally, and Touring Car filtration technology, engineered for both road and competition use.

Each filter uses a layered tri-foam media built around a structural cage, designed to maximise airflow with minimum pressure drop. The result is a filter that delivers significantly more airflow than the standard paper element while still providing outstanding filtration efficiency. Throttle response sharpens, the induction note becomes more present under load, and the turbos see cleaner, more abundant air.
