The MMX Performance BMW E-Chassis N55 Charge Pipe Kit is a direct-replacement upgrade for one of the best-known failure points on the N55-powered E-chassis BMW range. The factory plastic charge pipe is prone to splitting and cracking under elevated boost, a question of when, not if, particularly on tuned cars. The MMX aluminum replacement eliminates that failure mode entirely while improving airflow, throttle response, and the appearance of the engine bay.
Manufactured from lightweight aluminum, the MMX charge pipe is fully rigid under boost or vacuum and will not deform or fatigue under load, even at significantly increased power outputs. Its smooth-bore mandrel-bent construction improves airflow versus the OE part, supporting cleaner boost delivery and crisper throttle response throughout the rev range.
