The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S was developed through extensive real-world testing to improve turbocharger efficiency while maintaining stable intake air temperatures within the tightly packaged rear-engine bay. By replacing the factory airbox with dual patented Venturi filter housings, the system enables smoother airflow to each turbocharger, reducing aerodynamic drag and allowing the turbos to generate boost more efficiently.
With reduced wastegate duty cycles and earlier peak boost, the intake delivers sharper throttle response and measurable performance improvements across the rev range. The dual-filter configuration also provides a significantly larger filtration surface area compared to the single factory panel filter, supporting higher airflow capacity without compromising filtration quality.
Thermal management is critical in the 911 Turbo platform, where engine bay density can quickly elevate intake air temperatures. Eventuri addresses this with a fully sealed carbon fiber intake duct that draws ambient air from the factory location while preventing heated engine bay air from entering the system. The duct seals against the underside of the boot lid using the OEM rubber cushion and extends down to mate precisely with the filter housings.
Manufactured from 100% prepreg carbon fiber, the complex geometry of the duct has been carefully engineered to navigate surrounding engine components while maintaining the smoothest possible airflow transition from the single air entry point to the dual filter housings. Integrated drain tubes direct water safely away from the filters while maintaining airflow priority from the primary inlet.
Supporting the system are laser-cut stainless steel brackets, powder coated for durability and designed to utilize factory mounting locations for OEM-level fitment. Strategically shaped cutouts reduce weight while preserving structural rigidity, ensuring the intake remains securely positioned even under high-performance driving conditions.
The result is a complete intake solution that enhances turbo efficiency, improves airflow dynamics, and delivers a more pronounced induction character without sacrificing refinement. Independent testing recorded a 0.2 second reduction in 60–130mph acceleration, reinforcing the performance capability of this meticulously engineered upgrade.
