Burkhart Engineering SMG2 / SMG3 High Performance Hydraulic Oil

Burkhart Engineering's high performance SMG hydraulic oil has a higher viscosity than the standard Pentosin CHF 11s from BMW and allows the SMG pump to reach maximum pressure up to 25% faster. Not only does the high performance oil increase pump efficiency, but it will also provide a significant improvement with the heat generated in the system which will help eliminate SMG Error 56 - Hydraulic Unit Duty Cycle.

The high performance oil can be mixed with the some of the standard pentosin; however only a maximum of 5% residual oil should remain in the hydraulic system. It is recommended to bleed the system when using the new High Performance Oil to receive the maximum benefit.

The oil's operating range is -20°C to 130°C so it can be used year round without any problems.
