BMW G82 M4 CSL Strut Brace
The genuine BMW M4 CSL Strut Brace is a chassis-stiffening component developed from the ground up for the M4 CSL program. Using finite element numerical modeling, BMW M engineers optimized the geometry of the cast aluminum elements between the spring strut towers and the front end to address the precise forces exerted across different driving scenarios. The result is a significant improvement in front-end body rigidity, contributing directly to the enhanced handling agility and precision that define the CSL.
Despite spanning the full width of the engine compartment, the CSL strut brace matches the weight of the smaller standard steel G8X unit at 7.7 lbs. Finished in silver-grey, it is a visual statement under the hood as well as a functional upgrade. An optional black powder coat finish is available for those who prefer a darker aesthetic.
