The Eventuri Intake for the BMW E36 M3 has been developed to deliver measurable performance gains while preserving OEM-level drivability. Using advanced airflow engineering, this intake optimizes efficiency and maintains low intake air temperatures to ensure consistent power on both street and track.
At the core of the system is Eventuri’s patented Venturi housing, which integrates directly with the MAF tube. By removing unnecessary junctions, the intake creates a continuous, laminar flow path from the filter to the M3’s plenum. Unlike conventional aftermarket airboxes that generate turbulence and pressure losses, the Eventuri design maintains stable velocity and pressure for maximum volumetric efficiency. Thermal shielding and alignment with the OEM cold air feed further stabilize intake temperatures, resulting in improved throttle response, stronger mid-range torque, and sustained power delivery across the rev band.

Intake Housing Assembly
The housing is built around Eventuri’s bespoke Generation 2 filter, paired with an aluminum inlet cowl and a carbon pod with shielding. The reverse-mounted filter is shrouded inside the carbon pod, which shapes airflow smoothly toward the plenum and eliminates the restrictive OEM airbox flow path. The result is reduced pressure loss and greater overall efficiency.
The MAF sensor position has been relocated for a cleaner visual appearance while maintaining factory calibration. To combat heat soak, the housing incorporates thermal shielding at the filter opening, preventing hot engine bay air from compromising intake air temperature (IAT).
Patented Technology
Eventuri’s patented filter housings are designed with a smooth reduction in cross-sectional area, tapering down to the tubing. This geometry activates the Venturi effect, accelerating airflow under laminar conditions—similar to a large velocity stack. The bespoke filter design further enhances airflow consistency, ensuring an even velocity profile as it exits the housing.
