While IND is best known for our BMW projects, our facility has always welcomed a diverse range of enthusiast vehicles. Over the years, everything from Audi and Mercedes-Benz models to Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and classic American cars have passed through our shop, many of which were never formally documented.
This Audi R8 was one of those early projects and remains a great example of the subtle OEM+ approach that has long defined IND's philosophy. The build featured a set of painted front reflectors, rear reflectors, and red painted calipers finished to match the bodywork, a set of HRE wheels, and a suspension upgrade to improve the vehicle's stance while maintaining everyday drivability.
Looking back, the first-generation Audi R8 continues to stand out as one of the most iconic sports cars of its era, combining exotic styling with a naturally aspirated driving experience that remains highly sought after today.
