BMW U11 X1 M35i – Subtle OEM+ Cosmetic Upgrades by IND

Is this the ideal modern BMW daily driver? We think it just might be. When Chris from IND was in the market for a new daily for his wife, the choice was clear: the new BMW X1 M35i. As BMW’s SUV lineup continues to grow in size, the U11 X1 remains surprisingly compact measuring very close to the first-generation E53 X5 in overall width making it a perfect balance of agility and practicality. Chris opted for a timeless spec: Alpine White (paint code 300) paired with striking red and black perforated interior. Straight from the factory, the vehicle arrived with chrome “X1” and “M35i” badges—those were immediately replaced with IND’s gloss black emblem set, giving the car a more cohesive, aggressive factory+ look. The gloss black finish not only elevates the rear-end styling but also complements the factory rear diffuser. To complete the rear-end transformation, we installed IND’s painted rear reflector inserts, color-matched to BMW gloss black. Painted in-house at IND, these inserts seamlessly blend into the rear bumper and further refine the visual balance. The final result? A clean, OEM+ appearance that looks like it could have rolled off the production line this way.
