BMW G99 M5 Touring Window Tint Installation – First Step in Our Build

Before jumping into our first round of modifications, we knew the G99 M5 Touring deserved one of the most essential upgrades that most enthusiasts tackle first, window tint. We’ve been working with Jose and the team at Shaded Chicago for years, so long before the Touring even arrived, we already had them in mind for this install. Their attention to detail and willingness to make the trip to IND whenever we need them sets their service apart. For the Touring, we went with 20% on the rear hatch, 35% on the front and rear passenger windows, and 50% on the windshield. Modern window tint offers more than just a clean aesthetic; it provides serious UV protection for both interior components and passengers alike.
The result? A super-clean finish that gives the G99 M5 Touring an even more aggressive and purposeful appearance. With the tint installed, we’re moving on to the first round of performance modifications. Be sure to follow along to stay up to date as we transform this new M5!
