When it comes to selecting wheels for your new M5, the way they’re spec’d is the single most important factor in achieving the best result. At IND, we don’t rely on generic offsets or one-size-fits-all sizing. With the launch of the G90 M5 sedan and G99 M5 Touring, we went all-in acquiring both vehicles in-house to fully understand the wheel fitment requirements for BMW’s latest M flagship. We start by establishing a baseline with factory ride height and OEM wheels. From there, we install various spacers to determine the ideal sizing for each chassis. Once factory fitment is dialed in, we test how sizing changes with suspension upgrades, such as AST adjustable lowering springs. We road-test in real-world conditions including some of the roughest streets in the country—checking for rubbing during full suspension compression and hard cornering. Only after completing these tests do we finalize the custom offsets for new HRE wheels. This means that when you order HREs from IND, they’re spec’d using real-world data from the cars themselves. Whether you prefer an aggressive stance or a refined OEM+ look, your wheels will be ready to bolt on, no spacers required.
