Alpha-N Carbon V2 Diffuser for BMW G9X M5 – Pre-Preg Carbon, OEM+ Fitment

Alpha-N, based in Germany, has steadily gained recognition in the G87 M2 market and is continuing to expand its carbon fiber product lineup for the G-series M cars. While Alpha-N is still a newer name in North America, they've long been a respected manufacturer in Europe, producing motorsport-grade carbon components for OEMs and race teams alike.

While some of their collaborations remain confidential, several European-market vehicles feature factory-installed parts built by Alpha-N. All Alpha-N components are constructed using pre-preg carbon fiber sourced from Italy and cured in-house using an autoclave. What sets them apart is their use of aluminum tooling over fiberglass, offering far greater dimensional precision and consistency. Aluminum molds can be polished to a mirror finish, resulting in a cleaner, high-gloss surface. In contrast, fiberglass molds are hand-laid and tend to deform slightly over time, especially after repeated use.

We had their new V2 rear diffuser ready for install the moment our G90 M5 hit the ground. The aggressive fin design replaces the factory high-gloss black diffuser, delivering a more assertive aesthetic while retaining full OEM+ compatibility. The piece is designed as a direct replacement for the factory unit and uses 2x2 weave to match BMW’s carbon options.
