New Release: Eventuri C8 Corvette Z06 Carbon Intake System

Peak Performance Gain : 19whp, 18ft-lb
Mid-Range Performance Gain : 42whp, 44ft-lb

The C8 Z06 Eventuri intake represents a significant advancement in intake design, setting a new standard for performance and innovation within this platform. By reimagining the intake without the confines of the OEM trunk panel, we’ve created a solution that not only maximizes intake size but also showcases the carbon intake with a clear Polycarbonate panel when the trunk is open.

The OEM Z06 airbox, derived from the LT3 Stingray airbox, carries over the limitations inherent in its design, including its constrained shape and volume due to the space restrictions behind the OEM trunk panel. As a result, these limitations become more pronounced when applied to the higher-powered LT6 engine.

Our solution addresses these constraints by increasing the overall volume in an organically shaped system and utilizing our patented Venturi housing concept to provide a more efficient and less restrictive airflow path. In doing so, we unleash a significant increase in power and torque across the entire RPM range, with a transformative improvement in the mid-range performance. More details on our patented technology can be found HERE.

Each intake system consists of:

  • Carbon Fiber Double Venturi Filter Housing
  • Bespoke High Flow Dry Cone Filters
  • Carbon Fiber Inlet Ducts
  • Clear Polycarbonate Trunk Panel
  • Silicon Couplers
  • Laser Cut Stainless Steel Brackets and Heat Shields
  • Custom Inlet Flanges
  • Custom Flexible Hoses

The C8 Corvette Z06 Systems went through EXTENSIVE development. Eventuri designed and produced several 3D printed prototypes for dyno testing. Based on feedback, modifications were made, leading to successive rounds of redesign, testing, and refinement. This iterative process ensured the realization of the most efficient design possible.

All dyno tests were carried out in Paragon's controlled dyno cell facility where ambient temperatures were kept constant and fuel trim values logged. All other variables were minimized for a reliable and repeatable result. A fully stock Z06 was tested with engine temperatures at a stabilized value and then the car was left on the dyno while the intake was installed. After installation the car was allowed to reach the same temperatures and then run on the dyno several times for a consistent result.

As can be seen, there is a significant gain throughout the RPM range, and in particular in the mid-range between 3500-5500rpm where the intake released gains of up to 42whp and 44ft-lb or torque. This is immediately apparent on the road where the Z06 feels much more responsive and the "flat spot" which owners notice on the stock car completely disappears. Importantly it is the total gain across the entire RPM range which our intake releases that transforms the driving experience of the Z06.
